Justice should not be delayed because the clerk’s office has inefficient processes. When I became Chief Court Clerk in Family Court our office suffered from disorganization and the inefficient processes.
As a leader you must put your people first. When I am elected I plan to ensure that each member of my staff has proper training so that they can do their job effectively. We cannot expect our staff to perform at a high level if they have not gotten the development they need.
Bessemer deserves a deputy circuit clerk who puts serving the people first. I am a working manager that does not mind working the front window, resolving issues personally when needed, or providing clarity to situations that can be confusing.
